Level 3 Teaching Assistant Post
Post: Level 3 Teaching Assistant required as soon as possible
Hours: 37 hours term time only + plus inset days
Contract : Permanent.
The Governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding Teaching Assistant for Dallam school. The successful candidate will work alongside the existing teams to support our children in EYFS or KS1.
We are looking for people who:
- Can work collaboratively with other staff.
- Can work with the class teacher to contribute to observations and assessments of children’s learning.
- Can adjust activities for the pupil they are working with to support learning styles and individual needs.
- Can communicate effectively with children, parents and other staff.
- Can develop positive relationships with children and staff to assist the progress and attainment of children.
- Has a positive approach to managing children’s behaviour.
- Has NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants
Experience of working with children with an EHCP would be an advantage

Required: From September 2024
Salary: Main scale points 3 - 6 depending on experience.

Our pupils are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated class teacher with high expectations of children. We encourage experienced class teachers to the role to help accelerate the learning of our children. The post is part time with some flexibility on the number of working hours with a minimum of 13 hrs – 2 full days.
