Dallam Community Primary School - Curriculum Plan - Holly Class 2018-2019
In Holly Class we follow a similar approach to E.Y.F.S. and extend our learning into Year 1 themes as appropriate to the children.
We follow a two year rolling programme, varying the questions and the story focus each year. We aim to follow children’s interests; hence our topics can evolve depending on what we observe the children doing and talking about. We usually link our themes to books that capture the children’s interests further. Our topics are also influenced by the seasons and cultural and religious events.
